Elijah Ary holds a PhD. and a Master’s degree in Religious Studies from Harvard University. He teaches world religions at Ecole Supérieure en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) since 2008. He is also Lecturer in Religious Studies at Institut Catholique de Paris and at Neoma Business School Rouen since 2012. He was Lecturer in Buddhist Religious History at École Pratique des Hautes Études (EPHE) in Paris from 2009 to 2013 and research fellow at the CNRS UMR 8155.
Elijah has been teaching meditation to groups and individuals for a number of years. He has received meditation teachings from different Tibetan Buddhist masters since the age of 16, and has taught meditation workshops in France, Canada, the USA, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.
As a teacher of Religious Studies in both private and public universities, though largely inspired by Buddhist principles and practices, Elijah makes sure that each of his workshops take place in the utmost of confidence and with respect for each participant’s particular beliefs and sensibilities.
